Typically used as a coating for Chinese Dim Sum.
Recommended Recipes:
1. Prepare the shrimp mixture by using fresh shrimp paste, water chestnut, add in seasoning and mix well.
2. Form the shrimp paste into a ball shape, to ensure the coating stick, brush the shrimp paste ball with egg wash and dip evenly on the crispy flower grain.
3. Heat the oil to a temperature of around 170-180°C to achieve a golden, crispy result.4. Place the shrimp balls into the hot oil in batches and fry for approx. 3-5 mins, or until they turn golden brown.
5. Take out the fried shrimp balls and drain them on wire rack and paper towels to remove excess oil.
6. The delicious fried shrimp ball is ready to be served with any of your preferred sauce.
